painting with brush modes

I had this pic on my stash, uploading if it helps anyone

I use painting on the same layer and then set the brush mode to overlay/multiply/darken etc and choose the colors.

This works for all software that lets you choose the BRUSH blending mode e.g. clip/manga studio, photoshop.
